Description
Calcite lime plaster has the same eco‐friendly, high‐grain, qualities of other lime-based plasters. Being a coarse lime plaster, it is great for adding aggregates like reflective mica, glass and colored sands. Final design styles range from concrete to limestone but have a velvet touch with natural-stone effect.
Calcite consists of selected marble powders and genuine slaked-lime.
CL 90‐S baked in wood‐fire kilns and aged for 8‐10 months.
Calcite is Naturally White.
Call or order online a quart sample in the chosen colour from the online plaster colour card.
Application
Proper preparation of the substrate is of utmost importance for an optimal result.
- One Coat Protek Sharktooth Primer
- Two Coats of Calcite (yield 2 kg. for 10/15 sq. ft. and 10 to 12 hours to dry)
- One Coat of Wax (indoor only)
During final coat, compact the surface until the desired effect has been reached. Use a water spritz if too dry.
For an even coloring of the base product, clean the pot inner‐edge and accurately stir the chosen Colorants. Stir the base product, while gradually pouring the colorant and mix until a homogeneous blend has been reached.
Recommended: Let tinted product rest for at least 12 hours prior to its application.
