Description

Lucido is an eco‐friendly Marmorino trowel‐applied plaster wall coating and has a very fine finish aspect. It is created from selected marble powders and genuine slaked‐lime CL 90‐S, baked in wood‐fire kilns and aged for 8‐10 months.

Most suitable for indoor applications seeking a mirror sheen polished effect.

Application:

  • 1 coat of Texprime Primer
  • 4 coats of Lucido
  • 1 coat of Beeswax (indoor only)

Tools Necessary for Application: Medium size stainless steel trapezoid trowels, 3” stainless steel
scraper, soft cloth, & electric lambswool buffer.

Priming: Use either Sharktooth primer or Texprime rolled on the surface to be coated with plaster.
One gallon will cover 250 sq.ft.

Protecting the work area: Place masking tape and protective material over the baseboards, floors and around windows and doors. Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C (41°F) It’s good to have a strong light parallel to the wall and situated on one of the two sides of the wall you are working on (usually on the same side other sources of light come from such as the windows). In this way the shadow of the trowel allows you to see the actual state of the finish. Every so often, during the second and final coat, the light should be moved so that the wall doesn’t dry out too much in one spot from the heat of the lamp.
